Welcome to The Family Liaison Project
- The mission of the Family Liaison Project (FLP) is to build an active network of support. to nurture and sustain families of children with disabilities through life's transitions. The FLP encourages families to look at the future of their children emerging as productive adults living independently.
- Training for parents, caregivers and professionals of children with disabilities.
- Schedule messages to multiple networks as well as multiple days,
- Advocacy The liaisons help parents negotiate the Individual Education Plan process with 1 on 1 preparation and
- Helping parents understand and take a proactive role as part of the educational planning team.
SUPPORT TO FAMILIES
Support to families of children with disabilities. Collaborate with local agencies & parent support groups to ensure parents receive emotional confirmation and acceptance within the community.

Liaisons are parents of students who are (or have been) enrolled in exceptional education programs in Brevard County.
